Looking through an arched window ten minutes after sunrise the sky fades from custard at the horizon to light blue up above, with a few brushes of white diagonal clouds. Pointed roofs of Harlem brownstones are silhouetted across the street, and a taller apartment building can be seen in the distance. The window is grimy.

I was awake very early this morning.
Keeping extra quiet so Summer and her pal could sleep in.
I knew if I tried to go outside Summer would catch on, so I took this photo of the sunrise, through my window.
It was a beautiful morning.
It looks like we have two more dry days so outside chores will be my priority until the rain comes. Summer loves working outside so this is her lucky day.
