Jamie Allison<p>So I've been fighting with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/scummvm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>scummvm</span></a> on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/archlinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>archlinux</span></a> to get midi audio and digital audio working. I set up fluidsynth, and got it working, but no digital audio. Tried the fluidsynth library built into scummvm, and no sound. Got really frustrated with it. I decided to install Riven via steam, which I found uses windows scummvm to run Riven on Linux through Proton. So I decided to run the windows scummvm via wine, and Bob's your auntie, It worked flawlessly, audio now works!</p><p>Yay!?</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/retrogaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>retrogaming</span></a></p>
